So What?
I learned a long time ago that nobody really cares “what” you say you can do. There are always people who will claim that the can do it better, faster, or cheaper. And a few might even be able to.
“Why” is what people find more interesting. By understanding why we do the things we do, we get a better understanding of who the other person is, and what drives them to succeed. So why am I in real estate? There are 3 main reasons:
- I love to help people,
- I believe…deep down in my bones…that communities like ours matter!
- I KNOW from my experience as the VP of Operations in a major NJ healthcare system, as well as managing a real estate sales office for years, that having better systems, better processes and better technology can make the entire sales process more efficient & more productive for the consumer. I intend to deliver on this.
I grew up in a family where success was not defined by the amount of money you made, or the cool shiny things you owned. Being a “success” meant giving of your time and talents in a way that people might say nice things at your funeral. Yeah…it sounds kinda morbid, but that’s how I learned to get along in the world.
And the best thing about it is that over time, I learned that helping other people find ways to solve their own problems makes me really happy! I’ve worked as a social worker, a family therapist and a hospice administrator. But I’m enjoying real estate the most!
Every day I get to help people work through one of the most complex and stress producing transactions in their life. And usually, nobody gets divorced or dies (at least not right away).
The other thing I LOVE about my job is that I get to help build strong communities…one great neighbor at a time! I don’t believe that any of us live meaningful lives on our own. I believe that living fully means living in connection to others. And that’s what communities like ours are all about!!
The communities that I focus on in this site are found in central Union County, NJ. They exist along the Raritan Valley Corridor of the NJ Transit rail line (see map below). From Roselle Park in the east, to Fanwood in the west… these communities offer a nice alternative to the fast pace of urban living.
These are neighborhoods where people live together sharing a common bond…not just the same zip code. We have block parties in the summer, help shovel each others sidewalks in the winter, and keep an eye out for each others kids…all the time.
To me, it’s the American dream realized.
And unlike so many smaller towns in the area, there is always something interesting or fun happening…right here in town!

I am passionate about the communities I serve, and I am passionate about people! I know that I’m not the right agent for everyone. But if living a good life in a terrific community is important to you and your family, then I’d love to hear from you!
